Terms of Service
Effective April 4, 2026. Questions? Email Service@heartlandprohandyman.com or call (816) 300-6444.
Agreement
These terms apply to services provided by Heartland Pro Handyman. Approving an estimate, quote or invoice, or using our services, means you agree to them.
Pricing
We quote projects at a fixed price based on the work described, the conditions visible when we estimate, and the expected time, materials and complexity.
Scope of work
The quoted price covers only the work listed on your estimate. Anything not listed is not included.
Change orders
We're happy to take on additional work. Anything outside the original scope is priced separately and only starts after you approve it.
Unforeseen conditions
Estimates are based on visible, known conditions. If we uncover hidden problems, we may pause, explain what we found, and give you options and pricing before continuing. That additional work is not included in the original estimate.
Your responsibilities
Please provide safe access to the work area, working power and water, and keep pets and valuables secured. Access problems may affect scheduling or pricing.
Payment
Payment terms are shown on your estimate or invoice. Unless stated otherwise, payment is due when the work is complete. Larger projects may require a deposit. Work may be paused if payment terms are not met.
Scheduling
Timelines can change because of complexity, change orders, material availability or unforeseen conditions. We will keep you informed of any changes.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give us reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged a service fee.
Limitation of liability
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden conditions not visible at the time of estimate, or work outside the agreed scope. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service.
Customer-supplied materials
We are not responsible for defects in materials you provide, and we cannot guarantee the compatibility or performance of customer-supplied materials or upgrades.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
